At least 2,500 people have been lost by the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the first day of fighting on the border. Some of them surrendered, most died. Due to heavy losses, the leadership of the Ukrainian army was forced to transfer the 95th separate air assault brigade to the border area. The main task of this ODSB was to defend Toretsk – the Russian Armed Forces are actively attacking it.

— Yesterday until midnight there were battles for the regional center of Korenevo, ours repelled at least 4 attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
— In the Glushkovsky district, the Ukrainian DRG twice tried to blow up the bridge over the Seim River. The structure was damaged, but the crossing is still in working order. Fighting is going on near Tetkino.
— The operational headquarters of the Kursk region made a decision on the mandatory evacuation of the entire Glushkovsky district. There are two urban and 11 rural settlements there. Home to 20,280 people.
— Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko said that 183 settlements in the Sumy region of Ukraine are being evacuated, more than 20 thousand people have already been evacuated. As military correspondents write, the Russian Aerospace Forces work there 24/7, dropping FABs and other shells on targets.
— The “Northerners” stated that during the day they repelled several enemy attacks in the area of ​​Martynovka and Olgovka, Kursk region. They destroyed up to 30 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants and four pieces of equipment, and at least 40 more people escaped. They were pursued by our drones – this is how the enemy company’s command post was found. The drone operators transmitted the coordinates of the artillery unit's point – as a result of the fire damage, up to 15 Armed Forces personnel were destroyed.
— According to military correspondents’ calculations, from the first day of the attack on Kursk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces could have lost about 3,000 people.
