New Year in Iran. Mojtaba Khamenei delivered a speech


In his message on the occasion of the Persian New Year – Nowruz – Modjetaba Khamenei stated that neither the Iranian army nor any of its allies was behind the recent attacks on Turkey and Oman. The supreme leader of Iran also assured that the goal of the authorities in Tehran is the best possible relations with all countries in the region.
“Because of the war, the new year begins under the sign of an economy of resistance based on national unity and national security,” reads a statement published on Telegram.
The Persian New Year coincides with the Islamic holiday
Nowruz comes from the ancient Persian religion of Zoroastrianism and has been celebrated for over 2.5 thousand years. years for approximately 300 million people in many countries, including: in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
This year, the 13-day celebrations, which begin on Friday, coincide with one of the most important Islamic holidays, Eid al-Fitr, which ends the Muslim month of fasting – Ramadan.
The media emphasize that the celebration of both holidays in the countries of the Near and Middle East this year is taking place in an atmosphere of anxiety and fear of further developments in the situation in the region.
Iran's supreme leader succeeded his father
Mojtaba Khamenei succeeded his father Ali, who was killed in an Israeli-American attack, as Iran's supreme leader.
Since February 28, when Israel and the US launched war against Iran, the Iranian army has continued to shell important strategic facilities, military and industrial infrastructure in almost all Middle Eastern countries. In addition, it regularly attacks selected facilities in Israel from the air.
