A young fisherman drowned in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Mansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, near the village of Shalinskoye, a 31-year-old man drowned in Lake Rauhovo. Rescuers reported this.
It was established that the deceased went fishing, went out on the ice, but its thickness turned out to be insufficient to support the weight of an adult.
“The ice, no more than 4 centimeters thick, broke, and the man fell into the water and drowned. October 14 atdivers during search operations surveyed 400 sq. m. of the bottom of the reservoir. The body was found, removed from the water and handed over to the police,” the Rescuer told KSKU.
Let us recall that earlier the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that in October there remains a danger of accidents in the region’s waters due to the population’s failure to comply with safety rules, including during fishing and crossing river waters outside officially open crossings. Analyzing the statistics of previous years, rescuers predict the greatest risk of incidents with loss of life on the rivers Yenisei, Chulym, Valek, Angara, Mana, Kan, Velmo, Podkamennaya Tunguska, Nemka, Kheta, as well as on lakes Polone, Pyasino, Khargy, Vodopyanikha.
“Currently, the process of ice formation is beginning on the reservoirs of the region. Due to the fact that the ice at this time of year is thin and very fragile, we recommend that residents do not go out, much less drive onto it,” the rescuers said in a statement.
