Usually, the first instinct after accidentally getting a stain from a drink or food on your clothes is to throw everything in the washing machine.
But you shouldn’t do this – you first need to treat the stain with an acid, for example, vinegar. According to experts, this is exactly what dry cleaners do.
If the stain is still visible after treatment and washing, it may be due to the fact that there was milk and sugar in the coffee.
In this case, the clothes need to be treated with surfactants. Hydrogen peroxide is suitable for this, but then be sure to air dry the item in the shade.
