In Shelekhov, Irkutsk region, a 14-year-old teenager stabbed to death his lover and her neighbor, who tried to help the girl.
It all happened the day before, October 12th. A schoolboy quarreled with his girlfriend, who was in the 8th grade, and attacked her with a knife right on the staircase. According to preliminary data, the cause of the conflict was jealousy.
A 23-year-old neighbor came to the girl’s aid. The guy stabbed her too. The victims died in the hospital.
The mayor of the Shelekhovsky district, Maxim Modin, said that psychologists would be brought in to provide psychological assistance to classmates and relatives of the victims. The Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Irkutsk Region, Tatyana Afanasyeva, took control of the situation, writes IrkutskMedia news agency.
Investigative authorities opened a criminal case into the murder of two persons. The teenager was detained, all the circumstances of the incident are being established. It is noted that he was not previously on preventive registration and was characterized positively at school.
