The story of an abandoned child at birth. How did he get to a private high school and then awarded by NASA

Vlad Mureșan was born in the maternity ward in Gherla, Cluj County, 30 years ago. He was abandoned by the family, and the first years of his life and spent in a children's center in Cluj-Napoca. He has no memories of that period and is convinced that, because of the suffering lived then, his brain simply blocked them. He only knows that he was smiling all the time, and this assured the goodwill. At 5 years old, he was taken in placement by a family that offered him love, education and wings. He attended a private high school in Cluj, who offered him a scholarship, and today he is a visual artist and technical graphic designer, awarded by NASA, living proof that dreaming and education can rewrite any destiny.

“The first years of life are a completely non-existent period in my memory. I have a few pictures that surprise that period in the children's house, but the mind has blocked that period. What the maternal assistance told me was that at 5 years I could not handle it. At the first meal taken in the family, I would not get in the family. to say consonants. These are his first memories.

“The woman who taught me what love means”

At the end of 2000, a five -year -old child with big eyes and a wide smile raised his eyes on the “Prichindel” center in Cluj. In front of him, a woman was gently regarded. It was the gaze that would change his destiny. “I had a huge luck to be taken in maternal assistance from this family. I was received with warmth, love and compassion from the first second in which I passed the threshold of the house,” says Vlad.
