Cease-fire? There is an official declaration
The Israeli government approved the first phase of the peace plan for the Gaza Strip on the night from Thursday to Friday. This marks the formal adoption of the agreement and the beginning of a ceasefire. Israel is to withdraw troops to the agreed line in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours, and Hamas is to release all Israeli hostages within 72 hours. In addition, US President Donald Trump announced that he planned to go to the Middle East on Sunday, and White House representatives said that 200 soldiers would be sent to monitor the ceasefire in Gaza.

Also overnight, a seven-year-old child was killed as a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine in the Zaporizhia Oblast. In Kiev, eight people were injured and the eastern part of the city was left without electricity, Ukrainian authorities reported.
Trump: Spain should leave NATO
During a meeting at the White House with the leader of Finland, Alexander Stubb, Donald Trump expressed the opinion that perhaps Spain should be considered expelling Spain from NATO because it does not spend enough on defense. In turn, the Nobel Peace Prize winner will be announced in the capital of Norway. The winner is selected by the five-member Norwegian Nobel Committee; 338 candidates were submitted for this year's award, of which 244 were individuals and 94 – organizations. He is counting on the award, among others: US President Donald Trump.
