Copenhagen did not publicly accuse Russia of recently invaded drones, and the circumstances of these events are still being examined. Denmark, however, clearly makes it clear that Russia is a growing threat to its national security.

Mikkel Runge Olesen from the Danish Institute of International Studies believes that the relationship between the announcement of the authorities regarding weapons and drones is evident.

– Danish support for Ukraine made Denmark the purpose of a hybrid war. This did not necessarily reduce the safety of Denmark – said Olesen. – Our security also depends on our international position and to what extent we will be able to influence the result of the war in Ukraine – he added.

The Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen emphasized before the EU summit that even strengthened European defense systems will not be able to completely prevent the invasion of enemy drones.

The daily summed up that in recent months at least ten European countries have observed foreign drones over their territory, some of them were Russian. The newspaper reminded about the invasion of Russian drones into the Polish airspace and the capture of Russian aircraft in the airspace of Estonia.

“Wall Street Journal” wrote that, according to the authorities of European countries, Russia is trying to force them to reduce support for Kiev, increasing the risk of confrontation. However, most EU countries have no signs of weakening support for Ukraine.
