Donald Trump on the coin? The project arouses emotions in the USA

The Ministry of Finance of the USA is considering introducing a coin with the image of the current president on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the country's independence. According to the project, on one side the coin would include the profile of Donald Trump, and on the other its full silhouette with a fist tightened against the background of the American flag. The whole would supplement the inscription “Fight, Fight, Fight” (fight, fight, fight), which would emphasize the characteristic style of the president.
The Ministry of Finance in an official announcement pointed out that although the coin design has not yet been approved, its symbolism is to refer to the strength and successes of the country under Trump's rule. “Under the historical rule of President Donald J. Trump, our country enters its 250th anniversary. Stronger, more wealthy and better than ever before” – emphasized in the Friday statement.
The idea is part of the Congress decision of 2020, which enables the issue of one dollar coins in the 2026 calendar year, precisely in connection with the celebration of the anniversary of independence. Brandon Beach, the head of the American mint, confirmed on platform X (formerly Twitter) that the first coin project showing Trump is authentic.
White House surprised
The idea, however, aroused some surprise in the White House. Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, during the Friday briefing, admitted that she had not heard of the project. She added, however, that the president would probably be satisfied with such a distinction.
