Two people were killed on Thursday, when a man entered the pedestrian and stabbed a security guard in a synagogue where the believers celebrated Yom Kippur, the most significant of the three great Jewish religious holidays, the British police said.
The author of the attack committed on Thursday morning in front of a Manchester synagogue, who was deadly shot by the police, is a 35-year-old British of Syrian, the Local Police announced in a statement, AFP and Agerpres reported.

The incident is treated as a terrorist attack, said Commissioner Laurence Taylor, the national head of the British Anti -Terrorist Police.
Subsequently, it was confirmed that the “device”, which in the pictures seemed to be made of bottles or small canisters, was not a bomb. Such devices had been observed in previous terrorist incidents in the UK, including in the London Bridge in 2017.
Three people, two men about thirty years old and a sixty -year -old woman, were detained on Thursday evening, being suspected of “committing, training and inciting terrorist acts,” the Local Police said.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Thursday that it is undergoing police forces in the whole of the United Kingdom, after the attack in which two people were killed near a Manchester synagogue, notes Reuters.
“We will do everything to maintain the safety of our Jewish community,” assured the head of the London government after the northern England incident.
According to updated information, the deaths of two victims were confirmed, and three others were in serious condition, after a vehicle entered the crowd, and at least one of them was stabbed with a knife.
