According to journalists, on September 28, a confidential notification were urgently called to the service of “several” Danish military liability.
The document, which was accessed by the media, says that the call is “directly” related to the situation with drones in the airspace of Denmark.
The television channel does not have the exact scale of the call, but we are talking about the “several hundred” military personnel.
TV2 emphasizes that such emergency calls are “very rare.”
In a commentary to the security expert, in the past, the chief analyst of the intelligence service of the Armed Forces of Denmark, Jacob Karsbo, noted that what is happening shows that we are talking about a “completely emergency” and he does not recall that something like that happened earlier.
Karsbo suggested that the appeal of reservists is associated with the need to ensure security at the Summit of the European Union, which will be held in Copenhagen at the end of the week.
The head of the Danish organization of reservists, Jesper Schneider, said that the need for qualified reservists was growing to provide additional support.
