After processing over 99% of votes, PAS obtained the majority in Parliament with 55 mandates, followed by the “Patriotic” electoral block, the “alternative” block 8 mandates, and our party and democracy, 6 mandates, according to the projections.

Until this hour, most verbal processes have been centralized. There were 8 polling stations left in the diaspora, where the operation continues.

The party of Maia Sandu obtained over 50% of the votes, the score being double compared to the pro-Russian alliance led by former President Igor Dodon, the preliminary data shows.

1,573,065 voters expressed the total vote of the approximately 3.3 million voters registered in the electoral lists, according to the CEC data.

1.3 million expressed their vote on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, and over 272,000 in the polling stations opened abroad.

The diaspora voted mostly step by step, accumulating over 78% of the votes expressed in the open sections abroad.

The “patriotic block” ranked only on the 4th place, according to preliminary data, with 5.09%, after our party (5.57%) and PPDA (5.18%).

In India, where a single polling station was opened, PAS obtained 88.89% (8 votes) while PP PSDE accumulated 11.11% (a single vote).

The “patriotic block”, an opposition alliance that has among the leaders the former president Igor Dodon, did not vote in India.

The only countries in which the “patriotic block” won in front of the step were Russia (67.44%), Belarus (53.19%) and Bulgaria (40.49%).
