The multifunctional complex “Iceberg” in the North “strives” to accept the first visitors in late November. This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Alexander Kaminsky.

“The construction and housing control service is now completing the building of the building. We are waiting the other day to receive an opinion on the conformity of the facility, after the Department of Urban Planning will put the Iceberg into operation. Then the transfer of the object to the balance of the municipal sports school “Energia” will begin, ”said Alexander Paramygin, acting Head of Capital Construction Management.

For the pool, modern domestic equipment with a multi -stage water treatment system, including filtering, ultraviolet disinfection and automatic monitoring of chemical indicators, has been installed. The complex will be able to accept up to 500 visitors daily.

The administration is already hiring staff – five coaches will work with visitors and five Sports instructors. The cost of visiting will be 96 rubles for children and 204 rubles for adults. A school will also work in the complex for checkers and chess, and premises are planned to be used for city events.

“First of all, we will provide services to the population on swimming, organizing a training process with students of the Swimming Department of the Municipal Sports School of the Energia Olympic Reserve. In addition, people with disabilities will be engaged in the pool. Services for the older generation within the framework of the project “Active Siberian Longevity”, for large families and for the participants of Swate, will be provided for free, ”said Alexander Kaminsky.
