Karol Nawrocki was asked about the words of Donald Trump, who argued on Tuesday that Ukraine has a chance to regain the territory lost to Russia.
-I think that this is on the one hand the awareness of President Trump, and on the other hand, the work that we consistently do we, the leaders of Central and Eastern Europe, including me as the president of Poland-he said.
Karol Nawrocki said that in his opinion Trump's approach did not take place, because he expressed a similar opinion earlier in private conversations with the Polish president. “Yesterday he just publicly shared this vision,” he added.
The president was also asked about his possible meeting with the President of Ukraine in the future.
– Of course, a meeting with President Zelnski in Kiev is possible. I am finishing the first month of meetings in Europe and in the world. But it is natural that I will meet with President Zelnski. [W Nowym Jorku] We talked briefly, it was a change of courtesy, such a transfer of my and President Zełnski awareness, which we are struggling with and we Poles and what Ukraine struggles – he said.
