The National Arena in Bucharest became the zero kilometer of medicine in Romania, after 1,500 doctors of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” participated in the graduation festivity.
Less than 24 hours after the final whistle of Dinamo – Hermannstadt 1-1, the National Arena has transformed radically. The lodges were occupied by 20,000 parents, relatives and supporters, and the seats in the official area were filled with thousands of future doctors of Romania.
They spoke the oath of Hippocrates, the catalog was last open, and the thousands of students went on stage in the applause of those present in the stands. All for the 1,500 doctors who participated in the graduation festivity of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila”.
“The health system from us has started to offer much more attractive conditions, and the educational system has changed significantly. Many of them are students from 30 countries, including the US, Australia and several states in Africa and the Middle East”, Said Cătălin Cîrstoiu, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, according to PRO TV.
There were no lack of fireworks, emotions and thousands of photos to immortalize memorable moments at the end of a difficult study cycle. Now, after graduation, the next hop will be the residency exam.
