An extremely dangerous young man, followed internationally for attempted murder on an Italian policeman, was caught by Olt police
A 25 -year -old man, given international prosecution for several serious crimes, including an attempt to kill an Italian policeman, was captured by Olt police.

According to the police, the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service, with the support of the Rural Police Section no. 1 Bobiceşti and the fighters within the Service for Special Action, caught the young man in Iancu Jianu commune.
On his behalf, the judicial authorities in Italy issued a European arrest warrant for attempted murder on a policeman in the exercise of the duties, qualified robbery, escape and other crimes with violence.
“The operation involved a broad mobilization of the police, carried out on the basis of a permanent operative exchange of data and information through the International Police Cooperation Center and the Romanian Business Attachment Bureau in Italy. Thus, in a very short time, the Olt police officers managed to locate and catch the person” IPJ Olt representatives transmitted.
The man was presented to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Craiova Court of Appeal, who ordered his detention for 24 hours. It was introduced in the Center for the detention and preventive arrest of the Dolj County Police Inspectorate.
