He added that after talks with the industry and experts, he believes that the Polish railway can be the most accessible and the fastest in Europe.
“Of course, it requires foreign partners”
“Something intuition tells me that the challenge I have picked up today to the presidents of Pesa and Newag will be taken, it means that Polish companies will decide to participate in this great undertaking, but we will see, let's give them several dozen hours of time to reflection – the matter is very serious and Of course, it requires foreign partners due to purely technological challenges” – he added.

“I challenge such a cordial challenge, gentlemen presidents. We will be in the coming hours, this day wrote this historical order for high speed. And I exclude from my thinking the absence of such companies in this noble – let it be absolute, but also noble – competition” – said Tusk.
“I do not know if you accept gentlemen is a challenge. On behalf of everyone involved in it, I invite you to this great undertaking – fight for this historical order, its scale will be impressive, and we care so much that Polish companies, Polish specialists, Polish contractors were leading partners in these very ambitious projects,” said Donald Tusk.
