A dozen or so people arrested before Trump's speech. “Dear world, we apologize”

A group of several dozen protesters gathered near the building about an hour before the president's appearance in the general debate of the 80th UN General Assembly session.
A dozen or so people sat on the ground at the intersection of roads, causing even greater communication problems in Manhattan – wrote the daily.
The protesters kept banners with slogans against Trump. One of them wrote: “Dear world, we apologize.” The police removed a dozen or so protesters from the street. One of the demonstrators had a poster depicting Trump's head with the signature “Fascist”.

“Other countries must know that people living in the USA do not support Trump,” said one of the detained protesters, 64-year-old Alexis Danzig. “Trump threatens democracy anywhere,” she said.
