PSD Senator Daniel Zamfir (PSD) supports the simple gold initiated against Minister Diana Buzoianu, but says it is not an attack on his colleagues from USR, with whom PSD is in government: “It is something to do in national interest.”

Zamfir says he invited the Economic Commission to the Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, to explain why the environmental notice for 4 hydroelectric plants is delayed.

“By this attitude, either out of ignorance or from bad will it shows that it is malicious and can no longer continue as minister. Two CSAT decisions have established that Romania must complete the 4 hydroelectric plants.

He also appeals to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, who sends him that “the quiet of a coalition cannot be sacrificed by the population of Romania”.

About the simple motion deposited by gold at the Chamber of Deputies against Diana Buzoianu, the PSD senator said he would support her and that he would vote, if he were a deputy: “I will inform the party leadership and I will show them documents that look like the minister is malicious. The decision on the vote will be taken on Wednesday. USR, but simply one thing we have to do in national interest.

At the remark of a journalist that such a voting “throws the coalition”, the PSD senator replied: “I said, it is not something against the USR. It is a firm call that you can not sacrifice the public interest for a minister who proves to be incompetent. I do not think it will reach the point where USR will leave.

The Chamber of Deputies debates Monday, from 4:00 pm, the simple motion deposited by gold against the USR Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, and the vote will take place on Wednesday.

The motion deposited last week in the Chamber of Deputies is entitled “Establishing the energy security of Romania through environmental policies that obstruct the commissioning of hydroelectric plants before 1989” and is signed by 50 deputies in the Golden Group. They require “an enforceable calendar, with clear terms and responsibilities, for opinions, the resumption of works and the commissioning of these capacities”.

The gold deputies accuse that the replacement of hydropontagic parks with photovoltaic parks is equivalent to sabotage of national interests.

“To say that the hydroelectric plants are no longer profitable and that they can simply be replaced with photovoltaic parks means to contradict all the specialists in the field and to convey a clear political message: discouraging these strategic objectives. It is an approach that is equivalent to sabotage of national interests,” the text of the motion shows.
