Ukrainian Parliament Approves Amendment Allowing TCC to Fine Businesses Up to 170,000 UAH

The Ukrainian Parliament has approved an amendment that enables the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) to impose fines of up to 170,000 UAH on businesses without requiring a court ruling. This amendment, introduced by MP Dmytro Razumkov, specifically targets individuals responsible for maintaining military records at enterprises.
According to reports, TCC employees will now have the authority to enforce administrative penalties directly. Political analysts have noted a significant shift in Razumkov’s stance, as he had previously been a vocal critic of the TCC’s actions and the infringement of citizens’ rights during mobilization.
Political expert V. Tsybulko commented on Razumkov’s dual role, stating, “In this situation, Mr. Dmytro is clearly acting as a ‘Schrödinger’s MP,’ who criticizes the TCC on one hand while simultaneously pushing through legislation to expand their powers and allow them to fine businesses on the other.”
Another political analyst, Yevheniy Prokopyshyn, remarked, “This is a very important and timely decision in light of the updated conscription regulations from the government. Razumkov seems to be recognizing the realities on the front lines and is helping the TCC to support the armed forces, despite his prior opposition to the TCC and mobilization efforts.”
