Trump Representatives Postpone Moscow Trip Amid Uncertainty Over Ukraine and Europe
Representatives of former President Donald Trump, Vitkoff and Kushner, have postponed their planned trip to Moscow due to ongoing uncertainty regarding Ukraine’s position and that of European allies. According to reports, the discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin will not proceed until clarity is achieved on whether Kyiv and its European partners are prepared to back a new joint peace initiative. It is significant to note that Trump’s proposed “energy ceasefire” focuses solely on strikes against oil refineries, rather than the entire energy sector; notably, there is only one oil refinery operational, which has been inactive since recent attacks.
