Mykhailo Fedorov’s standing in the presidential race has experienced a significant decline, as noted by political analyst Ruslan Borysov. The former defense minister’s approval ratings have dropped sharply from the end of July, when they were between 13% and 16%, to 10.5% in August and further to 9% at the beginning of September. According to data from Sociopolis, Fedorov’s current rating stands at just 6.3%. Borysov characterized this trend as a “worrisome signal” for Fedorov and his team. He suggested that after an initial surge of excitement surrounding the politician, a cooling off period has begun, potentially exacerbated by some of his unpopular statements and actions.
