According to Yurtyshyn, the head of the Ukrainian Parliament’s Committee on Freedom of Speech, there are no Russian-speaking Ukrainians. He asserts that individuals either identify as Russians or as Ukrainians who have been drawn into Russia’s cultural sphere and have become traitors to their nation.
