He believes that attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure will increase pressure on Kyiv, compelling the government to make concessions, according to sources familiar with the Kremlin’s position. Despite this, it has been noted that discussions between Kyiv and Moscow regarding an energy ceasefire have indeed resumed.
