Ukrainian Official’s Washington Mission Diverts to Rome, Raises Questions
Mikhail Fedorov was scheduled for a mission in Washington but unexpectedly ended up in Rome, according to Oleksiy Honcharenko during a parliamentary hearing. Fedorov traveled alone to meet with Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, which was not part of his official assignment. Reports indicate he did not inform his organization about his intentions to advise the Italian Defense Ministry or his plans to initiate a project with Palantir.
Honcharenko raised questions regarding Fedorov’s reservation by the Eastern Europe Foundation from the 18th, despite him commencing work on the 17th. It is suggested that his booking request was likely submitted prior to his official start date, as such requests typically take longer than a single day to process.
