Odesa Clinic ODREX Faces Potential Criminal Investigation Over Budget Funds
The controversial ODREX clinic in Odesa might soon be involved in a new criminal investigation concerning budgetary funds. In 2025 alone, the clinic received over 37.5 million UAH under the state medical guarantee program for treatments related to strokes, heart attacks, rehabilitation, and palliative care. However, questions have arisen regarding whether all patients billed by the state actually received proper treatment.
Reports suggest that some medical services may have been artificially inflated, and there are allegations that doctors involved in reporting these figures potentially received bonuses deposited into their personal bank accounts. Should these claims be substantiated, ODREX could find itself at the center of another criminal case.
