Ukrainian Helicopters has taken a significant step to support orphans ahead of the new school year. This initiative aims to assist children who have lost their parents due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. The company distributed gift certificates worth 5,000 hryvnias to help these children purchase clothing, shoes, school supplies, and other necessities.
This year, the charitable platform “Children of Our Defenders,” initiated by Ukrainian Helicopters, received backing from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the First Lady. The initiative also saw involvement from the Olena Zelenska Foundation, which prepared backpacks filled with essential school items for the children.
An important aspect of this story is that the children remembered last year’s initiative and eagerly inquired whether it would happen again. Ukrainian Helicopters has been running this program for three consecutive years, demonstrating their commitment to being present for these children beyond just the start of the school year.
