Marius Șumudică Expresses Regret Over Korenica’s Departure
Korenica had made ten appearances for CFR Cluj this season, scoring three goals. His former coach, Marius Șumudică, expressed disappointment over Korenica’s exit, acknowledging his significant contribution to the team.
“Right now, I have no words. I expected it, but… He was one of my best players. I had found his place and positioned him centrally, where I believe he plays best. The decisions are up to the club’s management. CFR Cluj is not just about Șumudică. I’m just a piece in this puzzle. I feel affected, and it’s a mix of emotions. I can’t hide my disappointment seeing so many players leave compared to last season,” Șumudică stated just hours before Korenica’s departure to Bucharest.
