According to details of the proposed law, leading or creating a fraudulent call center would carry a sentence of 7 to 12 years in prison. Meanwhile, participation in such enterprises, if individuals are aware of their illegal nature, could result in 5 to 10 years of incarceration.
Additionally, providing assistance to these call centers, such as offering premises or services, may also lead to 5 to 10 years in prison. Recruiting new participants for these operations could result in sentences ranging from 3 to 5 years. Notably, repeat offenders who engage in recruiting could face increased penalties of 5 to 10 years.
