Berlin police prohibited Ukrainians protesting at the Russian Embassy from speaking in their own language — Bild
On Monday evening, members of the Ukrainian organization “Veche” went to a protest rally near the Russian Embassy in Berlin. As a result, performances in Ukrainian were banned.
The police said they were unable to find an interpreter within a short period of time. Therefore, it was agreed in advance with those who registered that the presentations would only be in German or English.
