Andrei Nicolescu, the president of Dinamo, has firmly declined to discuss the criticisms and insults directed at him by a faction of supporters from Peluza Cătălin Hîldan during the recent home match, where Dinamo secured a 2-1 victory against U Cluj.
During the game, Nicolescu faced harsh jeers from a portion of the crowd, although some supporters in Tribune 2 responded with boos to the negative chants.
The discontent among the ultras stems from various issues, including changes related to the club’s identity and recent statements made by Nicolescu.
Nicolescu Avoids Discussing Conflict with Supporters
This topic arose during an interview on Prima Sport, where moderator Silviu Tudor Samuilă questioned Nicolescu about his relationship with fans and the tense moments during the match against U Cluj.
“What are your feelings regarding the fans now? There was that very interesting moment at the match with U Cluj, concerning you. The Peluza was shouting something, while the other supporters disagreed with them,” the journalist asked.
Nicolescu declined to elaborate on the matter and appeared visibly annoyed by the persistent questioning: “Let’s talk about something else. I no longer want to engage in this game because… No, please, don’t force me to talk about it!”
The moderator pressed on with a single follow-up question about the response from other supporters in the stadium: “One last thing, respect that you don’t want to comment. Were you pleased with the response from the stands?”
Once again, Nicolescu opted not to address the conflict directly, instead choosing to discuss the overall perception of the situation at Dinamo.
