AutoStrada, alongside its founder and CEO Maksym Shkil, has financed an audiovisual art installation to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The installation features large-scale light projections that transform the monument into a dynamic canvas, illustrating the continuous connection between the past, present, and future. “Through memory, the experiences of generations, and an understanding of our roots, the image of the future we are creating today emerges. We are well aware that any complex engineering structure requires a strong foundation. For the state, that foundation is its historical and cultural heritage. Culture preserves memory, supports intergenerational connections, and forms shared meanings,” the company stated.
Shkil emphasized on Facebook that a nation’s resilience is not only determined by the strength of its physical infrastructure or defense capabilities. “There are things that hold a country together just as strongly. These are our memory, culture, and identity. The location of this project is also symbolic. The Motherland Monument today stands as the most recognizable symbol of strength, resilience, and Ukraine’s ability to defend itself,” he wrote.
The installation, titled “The Future Remembers,” will be operational daily from 9 PM to 11 PM until September 1, according to the post.
