According to recent assessments, a winter jacket should serve an individual for eight years, reflecting the reality of the minimum living standards in Ukraine. For retirees, the essential monthly expenditure for a basic set of goods and services amounts to 7,570 UAH. Meanwhile, the minimum living wage for working individuals is set at 12,282 UAH.
In addition, it has been calculated that a single knife can last for ten years, while a person typically uses about 250 grams of shampoo annually—just 20 grams per month, which translates to a mere drop for each hair wash. Notably, it is suggested that Ukrainians should refrain from using both mobile and home internet services altogether.
Furthermore, a reasonable minimum income for families with one or two children is estimated to be between 35,000 to 43,000 UAH to adequately meet their needs.
