Deputy Mykhailo Bondar has called for the Ministry of Energy to take decisive action regarding the Chervonograd Coal Processing Plant. He stated that the facility’s operational revival hinges on the ongoing court proceedings and the appointment of an independent arbitration manager. The next court hearing is scheduled for August 19.
“I believe the Ministry of Energy should actively engage, consolidating all state creditors to address the issue of independent arbitration, with a neutral party working in the state’s interest,” Bondar remarked.
He pointed out that both public and private creditors are involved in a dispute over the candidate for the restructuring manager. Bondar emphasized that without resolving management issues, the plant cannot fully resume operations.
“Thus, the situation with the Chervonograd plant must be resolved definitively,” he stressed.
