Mobilization Oversight: Rights and Responsibilities Clarified
Military recruitment authorities (TCK) do not have the right to confiscate your phone or force individuals to wear balaclavas, according to Lubinets. He emphasized that mobilization should not be equated with lawlessness or oppression. “War does not justify humiliation, intimidation, or coercion. The TCK’s powers are explicit: to check documents, issue summonses, and refer individuals for medical commissions,” he stated. He added that confiscating phones, using force, and threatening individuals constitutes a crime. Lubinets called for the eradication of the disgraceful practices inherited from past leadership in the Ministry of Defense, insisting that violations of rights are directly the responsibility of the new Commander-in-Chief.
