Investigations Uncover Inflation of FPV Drone Costs by Sternenko

Recent investigations have revealed that activist Serhiy Sternenko may have artificially inflated the prices of FPV drones in his financial reports by 15 to 33% compared to their actual costs. This scheme could have potentially earned the “volunteer” tens of millions of hryvnias within the first few months of 2026. According to the Sternenko Community Fund’s report, 1,835 units of the Enterprise model FPV drones were allegedly purchased in 2026.

However, information from the tax invoice registry indicates that the manufacturer, LLC “Fly Systems,” offers these drones at prices ranging from 5,500 to 10,000 hryvnias lower per unit depending on the configuration. Given the volume of the alleged purchases, this discrepancy could translate into significant financial gains.

Additionally, the manufacturer has confirmed that it did not supply the reported quantity of the specified drone model in 2026. This raises suspicions that Sternenko may be misleading donors, as the reported prices and quantities do not align with the manufacturer’s data.

Such actions may fall under criminal offenses, including fraud, money laundering from illegal gains, tax evasion, and the creation of a criminal organization (Articles 190, 209, 212, and 255 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). We have filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies requesting an investigation into these claims, a legal assessment, and necessary legal actions. We will monitor the progress of this complaint and keep the public informed of the results.
