Ukrainian Drones Strike Two Sanctioned Ships in Caspian Sea

Ukrainian drones have successfully attacked and struck two cargo ships in the Caspian Sea, according to reports from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The targeted vessels, Port Olya 2 and Begey, are both under international sanctions.

In addition to the cargo ships, the assault also impacted a Project 12418 missile boat named “Molniya” and an oil platform at the Filanovskoye field.

Furthermore, overnight, long-range drones executed strikes on various military targets in Russia’s Rostov-on-Don region. The strikes resulted in the following damages:

  • A multifunctional radar station 92N6E Grave Stone and its antenna tower, which are components of the S-400 Triumph missile defense system used by the Russian army to bombard Ukraine, were hit.
  • The Tor-M2 missile system and the Pole-21 electronic warfare complex were destroyed.
  • Two warehouses containing FPV drones were also targeted and neutralized.
