Ukrainian culinary blogger Olga Ryabenko V Instagram shared recipe for lazy cabbage rolls.

Ingredients:

  • 600 g minced meat;
  • 300 g cabbage;
  • 100 g boiled rice;
  • 50 ml vegetable oil;
  • one onion;
  • one carrot;
  • one egg;
  • 150 g champignons;
  • 250 ml water.

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • 250 g sour cream;
  • 3 tbsp. l. tomato sauce;
  • 1 tsp. Sahara;
  • 300 ml water;
  • salt, pepper to taste.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the cabbage, chop the onions and mushrooms, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  2. Fry onions, mushrooms and carrots in vegetable oil for five minutes. Add cabbage, salt, pepper and water to the pan. Simmer until soft, 10–15 minutes.
  3. Mix boiled rice and minced meat, half of the stewed vegetables, egg, salt and pepper.
  4. Place the rest of the vegetables in a baking dish and place the formed cutlets on top.
  5. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and pour half the mixture into the cabbage rolls.
  6. Bake the dish under a lid or foil for about an hour at 180 °C. Periodically open and pour sauce over it.
