
Ukrainian culinary blogger Olga Ryabenko V Instagram shared recipe for lazy cabbage rolls.
Ingredients:
- 600 g minced meat;
- 300 g cabbage;
- 100 g boiled rice;
- 50 ml vegetable oil;
- one onion;
- one carrot;
- one egg;
- 150 g champignons;
- 250 ml water.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- 250 g sour cream;
- 3 tbsp. l. tomato sauce;
- 1 tsp. Sahara;
- 300 ml water;
- salt, pepper to taste.
Preparation
- Finely chop the cabbage, chop the onions and mushrooms, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
- Fry onions, mushrooms and carrots in vegetable oil for five minutes. Add cabbage, salt, pepper and water to the pan. Simmer until soft, 10–15 minutes.
- Mix boiled rice and minced meat, half of the stewed vegetables, egg, salt and pepper.
- Place the rest of the vegetables in a baking dish and place the formed cutlets on top.
- Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and pour half the mixture into the cabbage rolls.
- Bake the dish under a lid or foil for about an hour at 180 °C. Periodically open and pour sauce over it.
