Fatal Strike at Defense Expo Near Kyiv Claims Polish Defense Worker

A tragic missile strike during the Defense Demo Day and Defense Expo in Kapitaniwka, Ukraine, resulted in the death of a worker from a Polish defense company, though he was not a Polish citizen. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the attack claimed a total of 10 lives.

The event, organized by the Ukrainian association of drone manufacturers ARMADA, was attacked on July 24 when Russian forces launched several ballistic missiles at a private testing ground in the Kyiv region. Reports indicate that one missile was intercepted, while two others struck the location, leading to significant damage, including 23 private homes, two hotels, a restaurant, and 34 vehicles.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that all victims received consular assistance.
