Cristiano Ronaldo (41) is back in Al-Nassr's squad and could play in Saturday's match against Al-Fatehin the 22nd stage of the championship of Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese star was absent in the last three games, as Al Nassr had not settled the outstanding payments that he had to employees and collaborators. Now, his protest is over and he is ready to return to the field.

His last appearance Ronaldo it was on 30 January when he was among the scorers in Al-Nassr's 3-0 win over Al-Kholood.

He has missed three games since then, but Jorge Jesus' side have coped well without the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, winning three times without conceding a goal.

Ronaldo quickly got over the upset, according to uiFabrizio Romano, and the footballer will be available for Saturday's clash with Al-Fateh.

Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Al-Nassr's squad

CR7 was recently supported by Toni Kroos, his former teammate at Real Madrid: “The Saudi league is a strange phenomenon. Nobody had heard of it before Cristiano Ronaldo came and now they disregard the man who put them on the world map.

If Cristiano leaves tomorrow, this league will lose all its charm. Without Ronaldo, nobody would watch this championship.”

Ronaldo's return is an undeniable boost for Al-Nassr, even if they are on a seven-game winning streak. Ronaldo has scored 17 goals in the Saudi Pro League this season, bettered only by Ivan Toney with 20 and Julian Quinones with 18.

A win on Saturday is a must for Ronaldo & Co. Al-Nassr is currently in 3rd place but can move up to 2nd, just one point behind leaders Al-Hilal.

Ronaldo's thoughts will now turn to his goal of scoring 1,000 career goals before he retires. His latest goal took his tally to 961, needing 39 more to reach the historic milestone.
