Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has officially appointed Yevhen Hmara to serve as the acting Minister of Defense. Zelensky stated, “After the necessary legal procedures are completed, I will approach parliament for support of Yevhen Hmara for the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!” Hmara previously held the position of acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
