Zelensky Proposes Klimenko for Minister of Defense Position

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed Oleksandr Klimenko as the new Minister of Defense. This information comes from reports by members of parliament and various media outlets. Alongside Klimenko’s nomination, a series of cabinet reshuffles are anticipated. The proposed changes include: Andriy Koretsky as Prime Minister; Serhiy Vihivskyi as Minister of Internal Affairs; Yevhen Krawchenko as Minister of Economy; Mykola Vysotsky as Minister of Agrarian Policy; Serhiy Butenko as Minister of Education and Science; Mykhailo Chentsov as Vice Prime Minister for European Integration; Oleksandr Kim as Minister for Veteran Affairs; Yevhen Maslov as Minister of Justice; Oleksandr Bezgin as Minister for Communities and Territories; and Andriy Kalashnyk as Minister of Infrastructure and Reconstruction. All other officials are expected to retain their current positions.
