The Gołębiewski Hotel, located in the coastal town of Pobierowo, has become a focal point of discussion, particularly fueled by recent videos from a popular content creator showcasing its interiors and pools. Customer experiences have been mixed, prompting a closer look at the hotel’s offerings.
The hotel’s common areas feature a striking design, highlighted by a large red carpet, distinctive chandeliers, and abundant marble accents. In contrast, the rooms offer a more subdued atmosphere, utilizing bright materials and wood finishes, which some guests feel lack a lavish vibe. According to the hotel, the standard room size is 60 square meters, with larger suites available, including one visited by the well-known YouTuber Książulo.
The largest suite spans an impressive 119 square meters and features a balcony, spacious bathroom, and a separate wardrobe for convenient luggage storage, as stated by the hotel representatives.
Controversy Over Air Conditioning
Upon its opening, the hotel faced significant controversy, particularly concerning air conditioning issues. Notably, YouTuber Książulo criticized the lack of air conditioning and poor communication with the front desk regarding these problems. Guests echoed these sentiments, with one visitor reporting, “We don’t have air conditioning, so it’s tough. Yesterday, there was also no hot water,” during an interview with a local media outlet.
Other guests confirmed the air conditioning difficulties and reported issues with dirty water. “I called the front desk multiple times, but nothing changed,” shared one dissatisfied customer. However, the hotel network asserts that all legitimate complaints are duly addressed.
Despite some complaints, not all feedback has been negative. “Everything is great; the air conditioning works perfectly,” commented one satisfied guest.
Pobierowo Aims for Business Growth
Representatives from the hotel maintain that despite a rocky start, it continues to attract significant interest. The facility aims to appeal to families, offering one of its main attractions, the Tropikana Water Park, which is touted as the largest hotel pool in the country. Additionally, it features extensive recreational areas for families, including large playrooms and activity spaces for young guests.
Another key aspect of the hotel is its conference facilities. The largest meeting room in Pobierowo covers 3,500 square meters and can accommodate 2,500 participants in a theater-style layout. “We are the largest conference center in Poland, capable of hosting even the most technologically advanced events while providing guests with relaxation options, aligning with the growing bleisure trend that merges business travel with leisure time,” stated Marta Masłowska, the sales and conference director at Gołębiewski Holding.
The hotel currently employs around 300 people, some of whom reside in a converted employee hotel, formerly a military barracks. Ultimately, the hotel plans to expand its workforce to approximately 400 employees.
