Full Bail of 150 Million UAH Posted for Ex-Minister Galushchenko

Former Minister of Energy, Galushchenko, has had his entire bail amount of 150 million UAH paid as of June 26. He has been in custody since February 17, following his arrest in connection with a corruption investigation.
Initially, 105 million UAH of the bail was posted by three private companies, with the remaining 45 million UAH contributed by two additional firms. Reports indicate that “Pellet Service” provided 4 million UAH, while “Hirant Contract” contributed 41 million UAH. Notably, “Hirant Contract” had previously posted 46 million UAH on June 26.
Journalistic investigations revealed that “Pellet Service,” a company involved in timber harvesting, is based in Kyiv and owned by 34-year-old Nazar Boyko. Boyko is noted for owning several other businesses, with his name appearing in association with various enterprises.
In total, the initial 105 million UAH was raised through contributions from three firms: 5 million UAH from “Skait Retail” (wholesale timber trade), 46 million UAH from “Hirant Contract” (wholesale of metal products and plumbing equipment), and 54 million UAH from “Tetras Optima” (wholesale timber trade).
