Zelensky Approves 40-Day Operation for Counteraction Against Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the approval of a 40-day operation designed to influence Russia towards concluding the ongoing war. This initiative includes a plan for long-range and medium-range sanctions, alongside results from the Special Operations Center “Alpha” on the front lines.
During recent months, Zelensky noted that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has demonstrated significant success in targeting the forces and equipment of the occupying army, primarily through the use of various types of drones. He highlighted the effectiveness of the Alpha unit, which he described as the most efficient in terms of the number of Russian personnel and equipment incapacitated.
The discussion also encompassed matters concerning Ukraine’s internal security. Zelensky confirmed, “I have approved a 40-day influence operation against the aggressor state to encourage an end to the war.”
