Andrei Ivan (29 years old), last registered with Panserraikos, is close to signing with Truong Tuoi Dong Nai FC, a team that has just been promoted to the first league in Vietnam.

The former Romanian international is to be presented to the club in the following days, according to journalist Emanuel Roșu. Gazeta Sporturilor's sources indicate that the team in question is Truong Tuoi Dong Nai FC, which offers Andrei Ivan a salary of $500,000 per season, but will make the final decision only after consulting with the family.

Andrei Ivan, $500,000 a year offer in Vietnam

Andrei Ivan parted ways with Panserraikos at the end of the season just concluded, for whom he made 31 appearances in the Greek top flight, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.

Free of contract, the former Romanian international received an offer that can reach 500,000 dollars per year, depending on bonuses, from Truong Tuoi Dong Nai FC, a club founded in 2006 and promoted to the first league of Vietnam at the end of the previous season.

If he accepts the offer, Andrei Ivan would become only the second foreigner in the team, after Brazilian striker Alex Sandro (30 years old).

Andrei Ivan's career path

Raised at Sporting Pitesti, Andrei Ivan arrived at Craiova University at the end of 2013, when the team was in League 2. After 3 seasons for Olteni at the level of the first division, with 17 goals scored in 82 appearances, Andrei Ivan was bought by Krasnodar in the summer of 2017 for the sum of 3 million euros. The former Romanian international did not impress either in Russia, or in Austria, where he played for Austria Vienna for one season, on loan.

Ivan returned to Craiova in the summer of 2019 and played in Banie for 5 and a half seasons, scoring 46 goals in the Superliga. The Romanian forward was then loaned out to Adanaspor in Turkey for the return of the 2024-25 season, scoring one goal in 15 appearances in the Turkish second division. Returning to Craiova before the start of the recently concluded season, Ivan ticked off two matches and one goal before being loaned to Panserraikos for free.

Andrei Ivan has 17 selections for the first Romanian national team, for which he debuted in 2015, under the command of Anghel Iordănescu. His only success came in 2021, in the defeat to Georgia in a friendly match, score 1-2.
