Rapid published the financial balance sheet for 2025 and GSP consulted the report. The people of Giulești ended the year 2025 with operating income of approximately 12 million euros and expenses of approximately 16.6 million euros, which generated an operational loss of approximately 4.7 million euros.

To this was added the negative result from player transfers, of approximately 1.9 million euros, plus other minor financial expenses, so that club's ultimate net loss in 2025 it was approx 6.7 million euros.

Comparatively, in 2024, the club patronized by Dan Șucu, majority shareholder, and Victor Angelescu, minority shareholder, had a loss of 3.9 million euros. From 2019 until now, the residents of Giulești have always been “in the red”, year after year, without exception, cumulative losses amounting to over 20 million euros in the last 7 years.

Where did the income of the formation patronized by Dan Șucu come from in 2025:

  • sponsorships and advertising (approx. 3.4 million euros);

  • tickets (2.3 million euros);

  • TV rights (2.2 million euros);

  • other operating income (2.1 million euros);

  • commercial activities (1.4 million euros);

  • UEFA revenues (0.46 million euros);

The amount received from TV rights has increased

The third source of income at Rapid comes from TV rights, 2.2 million eurosa little more than in 2024. If in 2019, according to the financial balance sheet, the club did not receive a single lei from broadcasting rights, meanwhile the amount increased from year to year.

Fast, “in the red” on transfers in 2025. Biggest expenses: employee salaries

On the expenditure side, the largest amounts are those with employees' salaries and benefits, approximately 10.2 million euros.

Other important expenses are the operational (approx. 5.3 million euros), material costs (0.8 million euros) and total depreciation (approx. 0.27 million euros).

In the area of ​​transfers, the club recorded revenues of approximately 1.1 million euros and costs (depreciation) of approximately 3 million euros, resulting in a loss of approximately 1.9 million euros.

Debts of 5 million euros in Giulesti

The total debts of the club in 2025 are approximately 5 million eurosalmost entirely in the short term. These include transfer debts (1.6 million euros), debts to employees (0.57 million euros), tax debts (0.7 million euros), other debts and income in advance (2.1 million euros) and obligations to UEFA/FRF (approx. 0.02 million euros).

Rapid has total assets of approximately 9.1 million euros, including cash of approximately 0.5 million euros.

To support the activity, the shareholders granted subordinated loans of approximately 8.5 million euros, and the equity is approximately 4.1 million euros.
