Thomas Neubert (57 years old) returned to FCSB. The German reached an agreement with Gigi Becali's formation and will once again take up the position of physical trainer of the team, but revealed that before signing with the red-blues he also held talks with Rapid.
Neubert admitted that he was also at the Giulești training base and met with Daniel Pancu, but in the end he chose to return to FCSB.

The German announced that he clapped hands with Mihai Stoica after several discussions held recently.
“I clapped hands with MM today. I wasn't hard to convince, but I set some very important conditions for me. That's what the discussions were about in the last period of time. I worked out the details and clapped. I want the conditions to remain between me and Mihai Stoica. One year is the new contract.
I haven't worked with Marius Baciu before, I don't know him. Next week we will have a meeting with all the technical staff, including Marius Baciu. We will meet there for the first time, but it is no problem for me and I think neither for Marius.
I also discussed with Rapid, I was there, at the training base, with Daniel Pancu. I really like him, I have great respect for PancuNeubert declared for digisport.ro.

It comes back after 3 months
Thomas Neubert has an old connection with FCSB and Romanian football. He arrived in Romania in 2010, on the recommendation of Laurentiu Reghecampf, with whom he worked at Gloria Bistrița, Concordia Chiajna and FCSB.
Later, the two also collaborated abroad, at Al Hilal, Litex Lovech and Al Wasl, before returning together to the red-blue formation. The collaboration between Neubert and FCSB ended in March, with the changes made in the staff after the installation of Mirel Rădoi.
Now, the German returns to the club with which he achieved the most important performances of his career and will be part of Marius Baciu's technical team. Until Neubert's return, the post of physical trainer was occupied by Horea Codorean.
