In the summer timetable, PKP Intercity will run 560 trains every day; connections to the Baltic Sea, operated by Polregio, will also return – informed the carrier.
The summer timetable adjustment will be valid until August 29, 2026.
The railway returns to Łomża
The biggest novelty in the new timetable is the return of the railway to Łomża – trains from this city will first go to Białystok and Olsztyn. The journey to Białystok will take one hour and 20 minutes, and to Olsztyn – 2 hours and 20 minutes. A connection to Warsaw is planned to be launched in 2027 – the travel time from Łomża to the capital, according to the announcements of the Ministry of Infrastructure, is to take one hour and 50 minutes.
Moreover, in the latest timetable, after over 20 years, regular passenger traffic will also return to the railway line No. 214 Somonino – Kartuzy. The track on the 8-kilometer route was replaced and engineering facilities were renovated. This is part of the modernization of the railway line No. 201 Bydgoszcz – Tricity.
In the summer timetable, PKP Intercity will run 560 trains every day. The Pendolino train from Warsaw to Ustka will be launched for the first time, covering the route in less than 5 hours. In summer, travelers will also be able to use the second pair of Pendolino to Kołobrzeg, which will travel from Zakopane. Moreover, Pendolino will return to Świnoujście during the holiday season.
On June 26, the Adriatic Express will return, and this summer it will run 6 times a week until the end of August, instead of 4 times as last year. On the way to the destination station, Rijeka in Croatia, the train passes through the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia. A new feature is the wagon for the Slovenian Koper, which will be disconnected in Ljubljana, and the rest of the train will continue to Croatia.
The new trains that will serve Baltic Sea towns also include the Sunday EIC Morena from Gdynia to Warsaw and the weekend IC Promenada from Wrocław to Kołobrzeg, which will stop at, among others, in Poznań. In turn, the EIC Posejdon train will run from Kraków to Kołobrzeg; last summer he started running in Warsaw.
Another new feature will be the fast EIC Neptun train, which will run to Hel from Krakow via Warsaw. Moreover, as every year, EIC Jantar will set off from the capital to Hel, stopping along the way in Tricity, Władysławowo, Jastarnia and Jurata.
Another new feature for Krakow residents will be the international connection IC Olza to Prague. The squad will stop, among others: at Oświęcim, Czechowice-Dziedzice, Zebrzydowice and Bohumin stations. This will be the 4th pair of PKP Intercity connections from the capital of Małopolska to the capital of the Czech Republic.
In turn, the most important changes in the Polregio summer timetable include the return of connections to the Baltic Sea – seasonal trains to Kołobrzeg and Świnoujście will start from Toruń, Zielona Góra and Poznań. The number of trips on the Gdynia-Hel route, as well as to Mielno, Darłowo and Kamień Pomorski, will also increase.
Additionally, Polregio connections between Nowy Sącz and Marcinkowice and on the Somonino – Kartuzy route will return. Residents of Bydgoszcz will benefit from new weekend connections – to Ciechocinek and Zielona Góra – to Łagów.

The Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships will also benefit from Polregio connections, connecting, among others, Lublin, Zamość, Rzeszów, Sandomierz, Bełżec and Jarosław, and Chełm will gain trains to Włodawa. In addition, the train from Wrocław to the Wisła Głębce station will run every day, the Kielce – Włoszczowa route will be extended to Częstochowa, and additional pairs of trains will arrive between Korsze and Ełk.
During the period of validity of the 2025/2026 train timetable, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe has planned two more adjustments related to, among others: with renovation works on railway lines. The next change is scheduled for August 30, 2026.
