Trains are returning to this city after 33 years. PKP announcement


In the summer timetable, PKP Intercity will run 560 trains every day; connections to the Baltic Sea, operated by Polregio, will also return – informed the carrier.

The summer timetable adjustment will be valid until August 29, 2026.

The railway returns to Łomża

The biggest novelty in the new timetable is the return of the railway to Łomża – trains from this city will first go to Białystok and Olsztyn. The journey to Białystok will take one hour and 20 minutes, and to Olsztyn – 2 hours and 20 minutes. A connection to Warsaw is planned to be launched in 2027 – the travel time from Łomża to the capital, according to the announcements of the Ministry of Infrastructure, is to take one hour and 50 minutes.
