Scandal at the Cluj Sports Festival! A teenage referee was allegedly slapped and cursed by a parent

A shocking moment would have taken place on Sunday, in Cluj-Napoca, at the end of the Football Cup tournament organized as part of the Sports Festival. A teenage referee was allegedly assaulted by a parent immediately after the end of a game played in the “Iuliu Hațieganu” Sports Park.
The incident is said to have happened around 1pm, moments after the final whistle of the match which ended the competition.
The aggressor would have entered the field and headed straight for the referee
According to ziarulfaclia.ro, a spectator would have entered the playing surface immediately after the end of the game and would have gone directly to the match referee, a minor.
Witnesses claim that the man would have hit him and addressed him with threats and reproaches related to the refereeing, under the gaze of those in the stands and around the field.
Those present were surprised by his reaction, especially in the context where the team his child was a part of would have won the competition.

According to the information that appeared after the incident, the entire scene would have been captured by the video systems within the sports base.
The referee's family is considering the possibility of filing a complaint with the police, after the authorities establish the exact circumstances in which the facts took place.

The moment caused many reactions among the participants and those involved in the competition, especially since it is a tournament aimed at children and young people.
The event took place within the Football Cup, a competition held at the Sports Festival, an event dedicated to grassroots sports that took place in Cluj-Napoca from June 11-14.
The tournament was organized in collaboration with the Romanian Football Federation, Cluj University and Babeș-Bolyai University.
